Sunshine Chicken Kebab (Kabab) is a perfect dish for welcoming spring. Typically chicken kebab is not something you can make very quickly, however I wanted to try out a simple and quick recipe. You can make this Sunshine Chicken Kebab in less than 30 mins without compromising any taste. If you look out the list of ingredients then you can find that with minimum ingredients I have made this Sunshine Chicken Kebab.
After having it he was so excited that he insisted me to post the recipe in the blog. For this very reason I kept the name of my blog as “Fun Love and Cooking”, because cooking for someone you love is not only just fun but also very satisfying. I can assure you that this “Sunshine Chicken Kebab” will please anyone including who also has refined taste for food. The ingredients are so ubiquitous that you can make it for your sudden uninvited guest.
See below the photo ,that how I arrange the chicken after 1 hour of marination. Try to marinate your chicken at least for an hour.
The most important step in this recipe is to use hung curd, which means soak the excess water from yogurt/curd.You can use cotton cloths to drain the excess water also.
If you have a griddle at home you can use that too. I have given both the option below in the full recipe.
Hope you will enjoy my recipe. If you like my recipe please comment below and follow our blog. Enjoy the “Easter”.
- 350 gm Boneless chicken Breast (cut into small cubes)
- 1½ Tablespoon Ginger Paste
- 1½ Tablespoon Garlic Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- ½ Teaspoon Black pepper Powder
- 2-3 Tablespoon Hung Curd
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano Leaves
- 1 Tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon Hot Chili Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- ¼ Teaspoon Brown Sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Powder(Optional)
- 2-3 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- Kosher Salt
- Pinch of food orange color (optional)
- Cut the chicken into small-medium sized cubes and keep them aside. Now take a bowel put all rest of the ingredients listed above, ginger-garlic paste, paprika, black pepper powder, hung curd, dried oregano, tomato ketchup, hot chili sauce, onion powder, brown sugar) and mix them properly. Now add the chicken cubes into the mixture and cover the chicken with the spice, keep the marinated chicken in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Before arranging the chicken in a skewer, soak the skewer in water, so that they don’t get burnt out. Now arrange the chicken one by one in a skewer, take them aside.
- Take a flat nonstick pan, add vegetable oil and when the oil is hot enough place the chicken skewer one by one and cook each side the chicken properly. In this recipe always cook the chicken medium –high flame, otherwise the water will come out from the chicken. In high flame you got the Smokey flavor of the chicken.
- Now your Sunshine Chicken Kebab is ready for serving.
- If you have a griddle, put it on medium-high, brush oil on the surface and place the chicken skewer one by one and cook each side the chicken properly.
- Now your Sunshine Chicken Kebab is ready for serving.
