Shrimp Skillet With Honey

This is a very delicious indo-chinese recipe. If you want to wow your guests make this dish and surely you wont fail.
Ingredients
For marinating:
  • 200gm shrimp (prawn)
  • Salt
  • 1 lemon
  • Black pepper
For cooking
  • Vegetable oil/olive oil
  • Chopped Spring onion
  • 1 Teaspoon minced garlic
  • 4 - 5 Tablespoons Fried onions / Beresta
  • ½ - 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1-1½ Tablespoon Tomato sauce [the_ad id="2092"]
  • 1-1½ Red Chilli Sauce
  • Chopped Green chilli
  • Garlic powder
  • 3 Teaspoon Corn Starch (Flour)
  • ½ teaspoon Rice Flour
Instructions
Marinate
  1. Peel the skin from the shrimp,then put pinch of salt,1/8 teaspoon black pepper,1 teaspoon lemon juice and mix it well.
  2. Marinate the mixture for 30-45 minutes.
Cooking:
  1. Add the Corn Starch and Rice Flour to the marinated Shrimp and mix them well.
  2. Heat oil in a deep fry pan and fry the Shrimp until they are golden brown.
  3. Keep them on a kitchen paper towel to soak the excess oil. [the_ad id="2092"]
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet (pan) in medium flame.
  5. Add minced Garlic, Spring Onion, Green Chili to the olive oil and stir them for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add Tomato sauce, Red Chilli Sauce, Honey & pinch of salt, then stir well for 1 minute.
  7. Put the Fried Shrimp into the sauce and stir well in low heat for 3-5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle Garlic powder and Fried onions / Beresta and toss them.
  9. Garnish with fresh Spring Onion before serving.
Notes
Add Red Chili Flakes to the Olive oil if you need the extra spice.
